Muynak — a real city, a tragedy, dying along with losing their water and the value of the Aral Sea. Earlier Muynak was one of the two major fishing ports of the Aral Sea, now it is 40 km. from the water. What remains of the fishing fleet Muynak, now rusting in the sand near the troughs that mark the futile attempts of the city to keep open the shipping channels leading to losing their water sea. Following the «care» of the Aral Sea has changed and the climate, hotter summers and colder winters than 20 years ago, sand and dust storms, it entailed and the diminishing of a living.
